Costumes take the
audience to another place and time. ECCT's head costumers
design or decide on the proper clothing for a show. Then,
seamstresses make or alter costumes to fit each cast member.
Experienced sewers are always needed in this area, but there are
also opportunities for people who can do small hand-stitching tasks
and people who can iron finished products.
Most of
our sewing is done in the ECCT Costume Shop next door to the ECCT
Annex, or small projects can be taken home to be completed.
Some jobs require searching through our costume collection in the
basement of the ECCT Annex.
