We need volunteers to
promote the Eau Claire Children's Theatre itself as well as each of
the productions we present. We are often asked to send
costumed characters to help with business promotions. We also
participate in the PACT Auction each fall with auctioneers. We
are never sure what requests we may have, but we try to accommodate
everyone that gives us a venue to promote ECCT.
If you
like dressing up and pretending, but dread the thought of performing
on stage, this is a perfect volunteer opportunity for you.
These
volunteers need to be on call. Sometimes we have a few weeks
notice, and sometimes only a few days to prepare.
In
addition to promoting our shows with costumed characters, part of
our publicity campaign for each show is poster distribution
throughout the city of Eau Claire and surrounding areas. This
is a great opportunity for people who want to volunteer but have
limited time to donate. Posters can be put up during the day,
in the evening, or on weekends. Volunteers need to be able to
drive for this activity.
The time
commitment for these volunteers is generally a few hours on one or
two days about three weeks prior to a show. For more
